🟢 Passive Skills (Permanent)

Skills that are always active and provide permanent bonuses to stats or mechanics.

Property Description

Scaling Flat (e.g., +10 STR) or Percentage (e.g., +5% PATK)
Conditions Some passives only work with certain weapon types or in specific situations
Stack Behavior Additive (all bonuses add together) or specific stacking rules

🔵 Utility Skills (Support)

Skills that provide buffs, debuffs, crowd control, or movement enhancement.

Duration How long the buff/debuff lasts (seconds or until removed)
Target Self, Single Target, AoE, or Party-wide
Effect Type Buff (beneficial), Debuff (harmful), CC (crowd control)
Dispellable Whether another player can remove the effect

⏱️ Cooldown System

Cooldown Reduction (CDR) stat reduces skill cooldown time. Formula: Effective_CD = Base_CD × (1 - CDR%)

Cooldown Calculation

Base Cooldown: Defined per skill (e.g., 5 seconds) CDR Stat Cap: 35% (hard cap) Formula: Effective_CD = Base_CD × (1 - CDR%) Examples (Base 10s skill): - No CDR: 10s - 10% CDR: 10 × (1 - 0.10) = 9s - 25% CDR: 10 × (1 - 0.25) = 7.5s - 35% CDR (max): 10 × (1 - 0.35) = 6.5s Minimum Cooldown: - Cannot reduce below 1 second (hard limit) - Even with 99% CDR, skill has 1s minimum CD

Cooldown Categories

Category Base CD Range Use Case Examples
Instant Cast 0.5 - 1.5s Quick, spammable abilities Basic attack combos, quick stuns
Short CD 3 - 6s Regular combat rotation Basic skills, AOE damage
Medium CD 8 - 15s Signature abilities Major damage skills, key utility
Long CD 20 - 45s Powerful abilities Ultimate-style abilities, party buffs
Very Long CD 60s+ Game-changing abilities Revival, mass teleport, major buffs

💪 Skill Scaling System

Damage Scaling Formula

Skill_Damage = Base_Damage × Multiplier + Stat_Scaling × Stat_Value + Flat_Bonus Where: - Base_Damage: Weapon damage (for physical skills) - Multiplier: Skill's % of base damage (e.g., 150% = 1.5) - Stat_Scaling: How much each stat point adds (e.g., 2.0 means +2 damage per STR) - Stat_Value: Character's stat value (STR, INT, DEX, etc.) - Flat_Bonus: Fixed damage bonus from skill Examples: ⚔️ PHYSICAL SKILL (Power Strike - Warrior): Multiplier: 150% Scaling: STR × 2.0 (high scaling, melee focused) Flat Bonus: +30 Calculation at STR 100, Weapon 200: Skill_Damage = 200 × 1.5 + 100 × 2.0 + 30 = 300 + 200 + 30 = 530 damage ✨ MAGIC SKILL (Fireball - Spiritualist): Multiplier: 180% Scaling: INT × 3.0 (very high INT scaling) Flat Bonus: +50 Calculation at INT 120, Weapon 150: Skill_Damage = 150 × 1.8 + 120 × 3.0 + 50 = 270 + 360 + 50 = 680 damage

Scaling Stat by Skill Type

Skill Type Primary Stat Scaling Factor Secondary Scaling
Physical (Melee) STR 1.5 - 3.0x +Weapon damage multiplier, +DEX for crit bonus
Physical (Ranged) STR 1.0 - 2.0x +DEX for crit rate & accuracy, +PATK × 0.3-0.5
Magic INT 2.0 - 4.0x +Elemental Affinity bonus, +DEX for crit
Hybrid STR or INT 1.0 - 2.0x each Balanced between two stats, +DEX for crit
Support/Heal INT 1.5 - 2.5x +Heal Effectiveness stat, +STA for durability
