📖 How Defense Works

Defense dikonversi ke Damage Reduction percentage menggunakan formula diminishing returns. Higher defense = better protection, but with diminishing efficiency.

PDEF Calculation: PDEF = ArmorPDEF + (STA × 0.3) + ShieldPDEF + PotionPDEF Damage Reduction Formula: DamageReduction% = PDEF / (PDEF + DefenseConstant + AttackerLevel × 10) DefenseConstant = 350 Example (Lv50 Warrior with 400 PDEF vs Lv50 attacker): DR% = 400 / (400 + 350 + 500) = 400/1250 = 32% If raw damage = 1000: Final damage = 1000 × (1 - 0.32) = 680

Evasion adalah "all or nothing" - either you dodge completely (0 damage) or you take full hit. Defense selalu mengurangi damage.

🔄 Attack Resolution Order

1. Check Evasion first (complete dodge)
2. If not evaded, check Block (10% damage reduction)
3. If not blocked, apply full damage with PDEF reduction

Scenario: Warrior with Knife + Shield (+7) Enemy attacks with 1000 raw damage: Step 1 - Evasion Check: - EVA: 50, Enemy ACC: 400 - Evade chance: ~10% - Roll: 45 → Not evaded, proceed to step 2 Step 2 - Block Check: - Block Rate: 17% (Shield +7) - Roll: 12 → Blocked! - Damage reduced by 10%: 1000 × 0.90 = 900 Step 3 - Defense Reduction: - PDEF: 400 → 32% DR - Final damage: 900 × 0.68 = 612 Without Shield (2H Sword): - Skip block step - Final damage: 1000 × 0.68 = 680
